How Do You Estimate Your School Tax Bill?
The District does not receive additional tax dollars as a result of the property revaluation.
The additional assessments lower the tax rate per $1,000 of assessed valuation. The result of the revaluation is a redistribution
of the taxes based on the assessment changes. Ultimately, the impact to the taxes to the town is based on the redistribution
of that town's portion of the tax levy.
